WHAT DO YOU HOLD TO BE TRUE?

It has been said that the core of sin is forgetting that God is God, and we are not. We did not create ourselves. We are not the author of our own being. We do not understand what it means to be fully human. Sin has marred human life from the inside out so that we have lost who we are and what life is meant to be. But the hunger to fully become who we are meant to be still remains. It is a voracious hunger and one that cannot be satisfied by anything this world and its ways can ever offer as a solution for that ravenous thirst.

The truth is, that whatever is not from God, of God, is dehumanizing. What the world system presents as the answer will never satisfy that hunger that drives humanity. The ways and means of culture do not fill up the emptiness, they only carve out a deeper cavern in the soul of a person.

There is a sinister plot working to mar and distort the image of God that each human being still bears. That plot against us knowing and experiencing wholeness is satanic in origin as Satan hates humanity because it bears the image of God. Satan is also desperate to keep humanity from seeing and hearing that God knows us, loves us, and has made a way, the only way, for us to be restored back in the relationship which alone can cause us to become fully human again. Satan hates humanity because God has made a way for us to be forgiven for all our sin and rebellion. Satan’s choice to reject God as Life has resulted in him and his fallen angels to be eternally lost but humanity still has an opportunity to be restored to God. That infuriates the kingdom of darkness.

One of the most sinister lies now being foisted on humanity culturally and politically is that God, if He exists, has made mistakes in the lives of many, causing them to be conceived, knit together in their mother’s wombs wrongly. The lie is that being born genetically a male or female is not defining. Satan is working hard to distort even more effectively to distort and destroy the image of God in people through transgenderism ideology. It is attempting to define human life in terms of human sexuality, which is a cheat. Bodies are being mutilated and children are being groomed to believe God made an error when He created them. Young people are being sexualized before they are mentally, emotionally, or developmentally able to discern up from down. They are lied to and are told that any confusion they might feel about themselves is evidence that they are not whom they seem to be.

This aberration is neither scientifically nor medically justified let alone proven to be factual. But anyone from the medical or scientific community who points that out is immediately slandered and accused of being phobic simple because they will not affirm and worship the lies. God has made us for more.

We were created to become fully human in a living, ongoing relationship with the One who called us into being. The only place, the only context where anyone becomes fully human is in relation to God through Jesus Christ. The Lord is the One who gives human life meaning and purpose. He fills the emptiness, satisfies the hunger of the human heart. Sin will never do that. Lies will never lead one into Truth. Jesus Christ came to destroy the works of the devil, dismantle the effects of sin, and to drive the kingdom of darkness away by His Light and Life. I Pray for all who have been deceived and for those who are working hand-in-hand with the deceiver to deceive a whole generation and subject culture to even more distortion and sorrow. Lord, have mercy!

WHAT DO YOU BLESS? It would be an act of utter folly and disaster were I to choose to "bless" what God will not bless. God's wrath is set against anything and anyone that would try and hinder you becoming all He created you to be and to grow in by being united to Him through the sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus Christ. There is nothing arbitrary about the Word of God. He is very specific on what will make for life and what will not. Human life only becomes human life when the Holy Spirit becomes Life withing a believer. Being united to the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the follower of Jesus becomes a new creation and begins to live Life as God intended. God begins the good work, and He is the One who will bring it to competition. Somethings will NEVER make for life. What God calls sin, missing the mark of what will make for life, is always sin regardless of what culture anywhere and anytime say to the contrary. Sin cannot save, heal, redeem, restore or remake...
INFINITELY MORE Ephesians 3:20-21 " Now all glory to God, Who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.   Glory to Him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen." In the Gospel of John, many of His followers turned away because of the covenant commitment He required of those who would follow Him. That covenant declared that what was to happen to Jesus would also happen to them. We, too, must lay our lives down and choose the will and way of God's Kingdom over all else. Those in the crowd knew that in Jerusalem, the Jewish religious leaders were plotting and planning Jesus' destruction. To follow Jesus to that degree required denying self and the thrall of the world and its ways, even to the point of laying one's life down by refusing to deny the Lord and His salvation. Jesus turned to the 12 and asked, " Are you also going to leave?" ( John 6:67-...
CONVICTION When the Holy Spirit convicts us of sin, He doesn't ask us to make it right. We can never add to what Jesus Christ has already done on the cross to deal with the totality of our sin. The Holy Spirit asks us to accept the truth, turn from sin and turn to the Lord. Then He will make it right. Remember Who our faith depends on from start to finish, that salvation is of the Lord alone. Laying aside every hindering weight and the sin that so easily trips us up (different for everyone), we are to run the race He has given us to run with perseverance, fixing our eyes on Jesus. He is the One upon Whom our faith depends on from start to finish. He will never run out of eyesight any more that a good shepherd would go ahead of the sheep he was leading where they couldn't see to follow. Hebrews 12:1-2 "Surrounded then as we are by a great cloud of witness to the life of faith, let us strip off everything that hinders us, as well as the sin which dogs our feet, and let us r...
