 KINGDOM LOVE

What produces Kingdom Love, the Love of God manifest in His people?

It comes from a pure heart, one made clean by the Blood of Christ, His forgiveness. He alone can make our hearts clean as He gives us a new heart and a new spirit. He causes us to stand before Him holy, blameless and beyond reproach. A pure heart is marked by singlemindedness in following the Lord Jesus in every detail of life.

It comes from a clear conscience, where God's grace in the forgiveness of all our sin sets us free by breaking the power of cancelled sin. God makes our conscience clear because He makes us see that what He has done for us has been done in us and will be brought to its completion when the Lord returns to take us home at last. Our conscience is kept clear through a life of utter dependency upon God, a life of daily repentance and the acceptance of God's forgiveness as fact, not some "legal fiction."

It comes from genuine faith. This faith is grounded alone in what Jesus Christ has done for us. It is grounded solely in Who He is, the Eternal Son of God, the Word made fully human while remaining fully God that He might be the Lamb of God Who takes away the sine of the world. It is faith that is grounded in Who God is, what God has said, what He has done, and all He has promised.

That pure heart, clear conscience and genuine faith give birth to God's Kingdom Love, for we see with new eyes that God has loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son to the end that ALL who would believe in Him would have everlasting, new life, an eternal heritage and a new spiritual DNA. That changes how we view everyone around us.

1 Timothy 1:5 "The purpose of my instruction is that all believers would be filled with love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and genuine faith."

  WORKING AGAINST ALL HUMANITY 1 Thessalonians 2:15-16 “They fail to please God and WORK AGAINST ALL HUMANITY   as they try to keep us from preaching the Good News of salvation to the Gentiles.   TIMING Years ago, I head an old preacher say, “The right thing at the wrong time is the wrong thing.” That statement is an offense to the culture being worshipped world-wide today. There is a lust for the immediate, as a line from an old movie stated, “Immediate gratification takes too long!” We want faster internet, immediate responses to our texts, mobile orders at the ready when we walk into Starbucks. What we want, we demand to have NOW.
